Petroleum prices to remain unchanged in Sept: Dar

Addressing a press conference, Dar claimed that government bore Rs 10 billion loss for not increasing petroleum prices.

He informed that the caibnet meeting, held earlier in the day, approved recommendations mooted by the committee on privatization.

He said the Cabinet also approved to publish Tax Directory.

Earlier, Dar chaired the meeting attended by Chief Minister Sindh, Syed Murad Ali Shah, finance secretaries and representatives of all the four provinces.

He said the National Finance Commission (NFC) meeting of finance secretaries level would be convened on September 5, 2016 in Lahore for renewing efforts to evolve a consensus on new resource distribution formula till the end of this calendar year.
