KARACHI: Pilots of Pakistan International Airline (PIA) are furious over the half payment of salaries for the last month, ARY News reported.
Sources said since the flag carrier airline was facing financial crisis, hence, the pilots were given only 50 percent of their salaries.
Pakistan Airline Pilots’ Association (PALPA) has written to the relevant authorities and expressed concern over non-payment of full salaries and outstation allowance for eleven months.
Pilots have called an emergency meeting to review the situation and warned that they had the right to protest by not serving long-route flights.
