PIA will regain its glorious past, says Nawaz

ISLAMABAD: Prime Minister Nawaz Sharif has said that Pakistan International Airlines (PIA) will regain its glorious past with new strategy and the inclusion of new aircraft, ARY News reports

The statement was made as the Prime Minister was reviewing the newly inducted A-320 Airbus aircrafts at Islamabad Airport on Sunday.

Nawaz Sharif said that PIA will be given such a status that it will become the first priority for Pakistanis to travel in it again.

The Premier congratulated the PIA staff on the induction of new airliners. He urged the staff to provide better facilities to the passengers.

The Managing Director of PIA Mohammad Junaid Younus, in a briefing, said that further 14 aircrafts will be joining the aerial fleet in different stages. The second aircraft will join next month.
