LAHORE: Chairman Pakistan Cricket Board Najam Sethi said players will be answerable for their performance in the World T20, ARY News reported Wednesday.
The PCB chairman said two big teams – England and Australia, perhaps – were knocked out of the tournament before Pakistan.
Victory and defeat is a part of game, but players will be answerable for their performance, said Sethi.
He acknowledged that the rage of Pakistani fans on team’s defeat was justified.
The PCB chairman said accountability of players must happen but it should not be forgotten that Pakistan team was still on 5th rank in the ICC T20 rankings.
