A petitioner contended in his plea that names of key government leaders including PM Nawaz Sharif, Chief Minister Punjab Shahbaz Sharif,  former minister Rana Sananullah, Law Minister Punjab Rana Mashood, Interior Minister Chaudhary Nisar Ali Khan and prime minister’s daughter Maryam Nawaz be placed in the ECL

It was argued in a petition that the key government personalities and leaders had important documents of the state and they might flee with the same.

The petitioner requested the court that it must also review verdict of the apex court regarding long march wherein it ruled that PTI and PAT must refrain from any unconstitutional mode of long march.

He told that sessions’ court had ordered registration of case against 21 individuals – including Prime Minister Nawaz Sharif and Chief Minister Shahbaz Sharif – over violence that took place in Lahore’s Model Town on June 17.
