PM Abbasi to arrive in Karachi today on two-day visit
ISLAMABAD: Prime Minister Shahid Khaqan Abbasi is to arrive in Karachi on two-day visit, where he will lay the foundation stone of White Oil Pipeline project at Port Qasim.
The project is aimed at transporting oil at a faster speed to sustain industrial growth and a progressive agriculture sector, the state radio reported.
The premier will also address a passing out parade ceremony of Pakistan Navy tomorrow (Saturday), besides attending a ceremony for promotion of M. Wallet accounts and SME finance for remittances.
On sidelines of his visit, PM Abbasi is also expected to hold a meeting with Sindh Chief Minister Syed Murad Ali Shah and exchange views on ongoing development projects across the province.
Economic Coordination Committee meeting
On the other hand, PM Abbasi is chairing a meeting of the Economic Coordination Committee (ECC) in the PM Office in Islamabad.
The dignitaries in the meeting are reviewing economic developments and the ongoing work on the developmental projects all over the country.
The committee includes ministers of communications, petroleum, commerce, industries and production, information, law, planning, railways, food and power and water.
