According to Radio Pakistan, recently, the Board of Trustees of Benevolent Fund doubled the amount of monthly grant for the families of those employees who die during service in a security related incident.
Besides, Special lump sum grant ranging from two hundred thousand to five hundred thousand has also been approved. The board continually reviews its policies and benefits are provided to the federal government employees keeping in view the financial resources of the funds.
The benefits also include educational stipends ranging from twenty thousand to forty thousand rupees to two children in a financial year, reimbursement of semester and annual fee to the children of Federal government employees up to one hundred thousand rupees per annum and farewell grant equal to the last pay drawn by the employee on his retirement.
