PM assures release of arrested non-combatants

ISLAMABAD: Prime Minister Nawaz Sharif has assured release of the arrested non-combatants if found in captivity, ARY News reported on Thursday. 

Prime Minister Nawaz Sharif was talking with a delegation of Pakistan Ulema Council led by Maulana Tahir Ashrafi. 

The premier assured the delegation that  the arrested non-combatants will be released. He said the government considering over the demand made by Taliban and gathering information about, women, children and others in captivity. 

Prime Minister Sharif lauded the role of Pakistan Ulema Council (PUC) in the peace process with Taliban.

Chairman PUC Tahir Ashraf said that all religious groups are agreed over the code of conduct and urged action against those involved in sectarian strife.
