PM, COAS offer prayers at Masjid-e-Nabawi

MEDINA: Prime Minister Nawaz Sharif and Chief of Army Staff (COAS) General Raheel Sharif offered prayers at Masjid-e-Nabawi, ARY News reported.

PM Sharif and COAS prayed for Pakistan’s betterment and well-being.

The two officials had arrived in Medina for a short stay on their way back to Pakistan. They were accompanied by Tariq Fatemi, the PM’s Special Assistant.

PM Nawaz Sharif and COAS General Raheel Sharif returned to Pakistan on Saturday evening after witnessing the military exercise ‘North Thunder’, in which troops from 21 countries took part.

The main goal of the exercise was to improve training in responding to the threat posed by terrorist groups.
