As PM Nawaz and Gen.Raheel Sharif visited the area, both were briefed by army generals regarding the areas that had been cleared of militants and reclaimed by the army. Reportedly, the Prime Minister was also briefed about operation Zarb-e-Azb.
Nawaz and Raheel also met with tribal elders during their visit to Mir Ali. Speaking on the occasion, the Prime Minister expressed delight at the army’s active role in clearing the surrounding area’s from the militant’s grasp. He also stated that the military force deserved a pat on the back for their valiant efforts in bringing peace.
The Prime Minister also distributed prizes and gifts among those who had relocated from the district due to the security and safety situation.
