Rawalpindi bench of LHC, while hearing a petition challenging the death sentence of five convicts, had ordered the authorities to suspend the execution of death sentence of five terrorists named Asif Idrees, Ahsaan Azeem, Mohammad Nadeem, Kamran Aslam and Aamir Yousuf.
PM Nawaz Sharif has said that the terrorists will be taken to their logical conclusion. He categorically said that terrorists will be eliminated at any cost.
“There is no pardon for the murderers of innocent people”, Sharif said.
The court has sought an answer from the federal government over the matter on 12th January.
