PM holds consultations to tackle marchers in Islamabad

ISLAMABAD: Prime Minister Nawaz Sharif chairing a meeting of Pakistan Muslim League-Nawaz to discuss the strategy to tackle the Revolution and Azadi marches to Islamabad, ARY News reported on Wednesday.

Prime Minister Nawaz Sharif holding consultations with his ministers and other party stalwarts to devise a strategy to tackle the marchers in Islamabad.

The government has also approached the rival groups of Tahirul Qadri for support. A delegation of JUP has also been invited to Islamabad for meeting with Prime Minister Nawaz Sharif.

Moreover, the government has stepped up backdoor contacts with PTI over the long march.

Chief Minister of Punjab Shahbaz Sharif has talked with Chief Minister of Khyber Pakhtunkhwa Pervez Khattak over the proposals over the long march.
