PM Khan directs Punjab government to adopt latest systems in Health department
ISLAMABAD: Prime Minister Imran Khan on Tuesday directed the Punjab government to adopt latest systems of Health Information Management to ensure transparent procurement procedures and the record of the patients, ARY News reported.
He was chairing a high-level meeting on new initiatives being planned in Punjab including forestry, urban land digitization, dairy and social security hospitals under public private partnership modus, in the federal capital.
The meeting was attended by Punjab Chief Minister Sardar Usman Buzdar and the provincial ministers.
The prime minister was briefed about the process of digitalizing the land record in the Punjab, aimed to facilitate the people.
“Overseas Pakistanis also to get this facility to ease their problems, they are facing in transfer of their land,” the premier was informed.
The meeting gave approval for the changes in the Punjab land record management system.
Mr Khan was also apprised about the ongoing crackdown against the persons, involved in mixing in milk, across the province.
To this prime minister underlined the need of investment for regulation of edible items in the country, as the issue is directly linked to the people.
On the occasion, the premier also appreciated the contributions of Punjab government towards increasing the forest cover and contributing to the “Green Pakistan” initiative.
