TOP NEWS

PM Nawaz Sharif made the announcement while talking to media here in Peshawar on Friday.

The prime minister said that the situation of the country would have been different if so many years would not have been wasted. He added that it is the priority of the federal government to provide relief to the masses.

“We have brought development whenever coming into power”, Sharif added.

He claimed that the country had additional electricity in 1997.

Nawaz further added that that pilferage is a problem in the power sector. PM Sharif further said that the government will end corruption from the country.

“Not only the government has to end load shedding, but it also has to reduce electricity rates”, he said.

Sharif added that the government will construct power plants based on Liquefied Natural Gas (LNG).

Nawaz Sharif also said that the prices of petroleum goods will be further slashed in near future.

The prime minister said that the government would have focused on construction of factories and industries if sit-ins were not taking place.

“Reduction in power tariffs will lead to increase in exports”, he added.

He added that a gas pipeline from Nawabshah to Iranian border will also be made.

The prime minister further said that he wishes to see a new Pakistan in Khyber Pakhtunkhwa (KP).

“Don’t ask me about the sit-ins in the country. Ask me about the development projects and industries that are about to be set up”, Sharif added.

PM Sharif said that the relations with neighboring countries are also improving.
