ISLAMABAD: The Prime Minister of Pakistan, Nawaz Sharif chaired a high-level meeting here on Friday, during which funds were approved to be allocated for several development projects including Bhasha Dam, Gwadar Port free economic zone, Rawalpindi-Islamabad metro bus project and others – ARY News reports.
According to details PM Nawaz Sharif chaired a high-level here on Monday, during which the feasibility report of a railway link from Hawailian to Pak-China border was reviewed, while funds were allocated for Bhasha Dam, Faisalabad-Khanewal motorway and Rawalpindi-Islamabad metro bus project.
The Prime Minister approved the feasibility report of the railway link from Hawailian to Pak-China border and directed the officials to prepare the report of Gwadar-Karachi railway project.
Other projects which were approved included New Gwadar International Airport, Gwadar Port free economic zone and the Pak-China vocational institute.
Moreover, the Prime Minister, Nawaz Sharif directed the officials to speed up development work of Lahore-Karachi motorway.
