TEHRAN: Prime Minister of Pakistan Nawaz Sharif has arrived in Tehran for a two day visit on Sunday (today), ARY News reports.
Nawaz Sharif has come to Iran on the invitation of Iranian President Hassan Rouhani. Finance Minister Ishaq Dar, Shahid Khaqan Abbasi and Sartaj Aziz also accompanied the Prime Minister on the visit.
Pakistani Premier will meet Iranian President Hassan Rouhani supreme leader Ayatollah Ali Khamenei and other leaders on the two day visit. During the visit, discussions will be held on issues including Pak-Iran Gas Pipeline and the regional situation.
This is the first visit by top leadership of either of the two countries after taking charge.
