PM Nawaz decides to conduct judicial inquiry of attack on Hamid Mir
ISLAMABAD: Prime Minister Mian Mohammad Nawaz Sharif has decided to conduct judicial inquiry over the assassination attempt of senior journalist Hamid Mir, ARY News reported.
According to sources, PM Nawaz advised to constitute a three-member Judicial Commission to probe the assassination attempt on life of journalist in Karachi.
The decision was taken at a meeting held in Lahore on Sunday.
Chief Justice of Pakistan will be requested to nominate members for the commission, said spokesman.
Furthermore, the jurisdictions of the committee will be explained at the time of its formation.
The government has also announced the cash price of Rs. 10 million to those people, who provide information about the attackers.
