ISLAMABAD: The Prime Minister of Pakistan, Nawaz Sharif while expressing immense grief over the Model Town Incident, has said that nobody shall be allowed to put on stake the internal security of the state – ARY News reports.
In a statement issued on Wednesday morning, Nawaz Sharif said that incident that occurred in Lahore yesterday was tragic enough and expressed his immense grief over the loss of lives.
He stated that a tribunal has been formed to investigate the facts and to identify the ones responsible for this gruesome tragedy.
The Prime Minister declared national security as the top priority and expressed his determination not to let anybody put it on stake. He added that Pakistan as a state is fighting two wars, hinting at serious threats posed by the external as well as internal enemies.
Moreover, PM Nawaz said that his Government is striving to stable the economy of Pakistan, for which peace is the utmost necessity.
