PM Nawaz should first submit to constitution, says Professor Ibrahim

RAHIM YAR KHAN/PESHAWAR: Head of Taliban-nominated committee, Molana Sami ul Haq has said that a venue of talks between Government and Taliban has been fixed and negotiations will resume soon, while Professor Ibrahim has expressed his reservations over advancements in the process – ARY News reports.

Talking to media here on Friday, Molana Sami ul Haq said that talks were delayed due to engagements of the rulers, while he reiterated that a military offensive will result in further destruction and nothing will be achieved, but a common man will be affected.

Meanwhile, Professor Ibrahim in his statement issued from Peshawar, said that he in touch with Molana Yousuf Shah seeking advancement in dialogue process.

He stated that the military's responsibility is to safeguard the borders, not to check the identity cards of the people.

Ibrahim also lashed out at PM Nawaz Sharif, saying that first the Prime Minister should submit to the constitution, then Taliban will also be forced to accept it.
