ISLAMABAD: Prime Minister of Pakistan, Nawaz Sharif has formed a special monitoring committee on operation Zarb-e-Azb in North Waziristan, which will be supervised by the coordination committee of the federal cabinet – ARY News reports.
According to details, the committee will comprise of Federal Minister Abdul Qadir Baloch, DG ISI, Chief of General Staff (COGS), Chairman of National Disaster Management Authority (NDMA), Director General Military Operations (DGMO) and the DG Inter Services Public Relations (ISPR).
The committee will also include Secretary Interior, Secretary Finance and the Chief Secretary of Khyber Pakhtunkhwa (KP).
The coordination committee of the federal cabinet will supervise the monitoring committee regarding operation related affairs, which will meet on daily basis.
The coordination committee will present its report on advancements in North Waziristan Operation, to the Prime Minister Nawaz Sharif.
