PM Nawaz gives go-ahead for 1000 KP schools

ISLAMABAD: Prime Minister Nawaz Sharif has approved the construction of 1000 schools in the province of Khyber Pakhtunkhwa (KP), ARY News reports on Tuesday.

PM Nawaz Sharif had announced earlier that the government will construct schools in KP areas that were hit by 2005 Earthquakes.

The education centres will be made in areas of Shangla, Batgaram, Mansehra and Abbotabad in which Rs. 8 billion will be spend.

The prime minister has instructed the concerned authorities to complete the construction within a year.
