PM Nawaz lauds services of naval chief

ISLAMABAD: Chief of Naval Staff Admiral Asif Sandila on Wednesday paid farewell call on the Prime Minister Nawaz Sharif, ARY News reported.

The two dignitaries met in Islamabad. The prime minister lauded services of the outgoing Naval Chief for his services for national defence and Pakistan Navy.

They also discussed matters of mutual interest. Sources told that the Admiral Sandila informed the PM about overall strengths of Pakistan Navy and challenges it is facing.

According to Inter Services Public Relations, the incumbent naval chief is set to retire on October 7, 2014.
