ISLAMABAD: Prime Minister Nawaz Sharif will hold one on one meeting with India's new leader Narendra Modi on May 27 during his visit of New Delhi, ARY News reported on Saturday.

Pakistan's Prime Minister will leave for New Delhi on May 26 to attend the oath taking ceremony of Narendra Modi as India's new Prime Minister.

Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP) led alliance emerged winner with a landslide victory in the recent general elections of India.

Modi had invited Prime Minister Nawaz Sharif and other heads of the government of the South Asian region to attend his oath taking ceremony scheduled to be held on Monday May 26.

Pakistan's foreign office had earlier said that the invitation to the prime minister has been received and has been under consideration.

A spokesman of the government today announced that Prime Minister Nawaz Sharif will visit New Delhi to attend swearing-in of Mr. Modi as the Prime Minister of India.

Some key ministers will also be accompanied with the prime minister during his goodwill visit of the neighboring country.

Prime Minister Nawaz Sharif will also hold one on one meeting with Narendra Modi during the prime minister's visit of India on Tuesday, May 27.
