ISLAMABAD: Prime Minister Nawaz Sharif has recommended the President Mamnoon Hussain for awarding Sitara e Shujaat to Aitzaz Hussain who was martyred while intercepting a suicide bomber from entering into his school in Hangu – ARY News reports.
According to details, Aitzaz Hassan, aged 15 and student of 9th class, laid his life when he saw a suspected bomber at the school gate. He inquired the suspected man and upon non-provision of satisfactory answer Aitzaz grabbed him, this was the moment when the suicidal blew himself up.
However, Aitzaz succeeded in safeguarding hundreds of his school mates and embraced martyrdom himself.
The Prime Minister stated that the nation is proud of Aitzaz's sacrifice; he set a great example of bravery and foiled wicked plans of the bomber.
