According to informed sources, doctors have advised the prime minister to continue his stay in London so that more tests could be conducted.
Sources say that Nawaz Sharif has extended his visit after he was also requested to not travel at the moment by his doctors. However, it is yet to be officially confirmed on Monday, whether the prime minister has extended his London visit or not.
Earlier on Wednesday, Prime Minister Nawaz Sharif had visited a local hospital in the city where doctors examined him.
Prime Minister Nawaz Sharif has been in London since May 22. This has been his second visit to London in less than two months for medical reasons at a time when the controversy over Panama Papers is still continuing in Pakistan.
Although the purpose of Nawaz Sharif’s visit to London could be medical, there have been rumours that a meeting between the prime minister and the Pakistan Peoples Party Co-Chairman Asif Ali Zardari could be in the offing.
