PM Nawaz Sharif to leave for Iran tomorrow, says FO
ISLAMABAD: The Foreign Office (FO) of Pakistan has said that the Prime Minister, Nawaz Sharif will leave for his visit to Iran tomorrow; he will hold discussions with to Iranian leadership on different affairs, including the enhancement of trade relations between the two states – ARY News reports.
The FO Spokesperson, Tasneem Aslam told on Saturday that the Prime Minister, Nawaz Sharif will meet the Supreme Leader of Iran, Ayatollah Khamenei, President of Iran and other higher officials.
She added that Advisor on Foreign Affairs, Sartaj Aziz, Finance Minister, Ishaq Dar, Petroleum Minister, Shahid Khaqan Abbasi and Chief Minister of Balochistan, Dr Abdul Malik Baloch will also be accompanied the Prime Minister, during the visit.
This is the first high-level visit, after the formation of new governments in both the countries, during which affairs relating to extending bilateral trade relations will be discussed, while several trade agreements will also be signed.
