PM Nawaz summons Peace Talk Committee on Friday

ISLAMABAD: Prime Minister of Pakistan, Nawaz Sharif has summoned the first meeting of the committee formed for holding a dialogue with Taliban, tomorrow – ARY News reports.

According to details, PM Nawaz Sharif summoned the meeting on Thursday, which will be held at the PM House.

Federal Interior Minister, Chaudhry Nisar Ali Khan will also attend the meeting along with rest of the members picked up by the Prime minister for peace talks with the banned outfit.

Sources told that the meeting will be focused at determining the mandate of the Peace Talks Committee, whilst affairs relating to its working procedure will also be discussed.

Earlier during a session of the National Assembly on Wednesday, PM Nawaz Sharif had announced a four member committee for the peace talks comprising of Irfan Siddiqui, Major (Retd.) Mohammad Aamir, Rahimullah Yousufzai and Rustam Shah Mohamand.
