PM Nawaz vows rule of light over darkness

GUDDU: Prime Minister Nawaz Sharif has promised the rule of the light over darkness in the country, ARY News reported on Monday.  

Prime Minister Nawaz Sharif inaugurated two units of Guddu Thermal Power Plant in upper Sindh. 

Sharif was addressing the inaugural ceremony of two plants of 243 megawatt electricity at Guddu near Kashmore.

He said the power project has been completed seven months earlier than the scheduled time. 

"We have to speed up the work to compensate the lost time," Sharif said. 

Prime Minister Nawaz Sharif promised dozens of power plants in the country with the help of China adding that all power projects will be completed soon. These power plants will help to fill the gap between demand and supply of power.  

The foundation stone of Karachi-Lahore Motorway will be laid soon, he said.
