PM Nawaz will not make any deal with Musharraf, claims Rana

FAISALABAD: Law Minister Punjab, Rana Sanaullah has said that the decision on Musharraf will be made in the court according to the law and Constitution of Pakistan. He added that PM Nawaz Sharif will not make any deal with General (R) Pervez Musharraf – ARY News reports.

He was observing WASA water supply plant here on Saturday which is under construction with the cooperation of French Government.

Rana Sanaullah denied the notions that Pervez Musharraf is being sent abroad under a deal. He prayed for speedy recovery of the former President.

The Law Minister stated that PMLN Government in Punjab had registered a case against Raymond Davis and presented him before the court despite of all kinds of external pressure.

He said that Musharraf's case is in the court and it is up to the consent of the court to punish him, free him or to send him abroad.

Commenting on the Local Body (LB) elections, Rana mentioned that conducting the polls is the duty of the Election Commission of Pakistan (ECP), whereas it has become difficult to hold the polls after the delimitations declared as null and void.
