Pakistan’s Prime Minister Sharif, who was in Nepal’s capital to attend the 18th summit of the South Asian countries, ordered provision of the pineapple juice and dry fruits before his flying back to home, sources said.

Pakistan International Airlines (PIA) officials at Kathmandu airport implored the officials of other airlines to meet the unlikely demand of the prime minister as the ordered items were not available in the PIA stock.

However, the flight carrying Prime Minister Nawaz Sharif to Islamabad was provided 20 litres fresh juice of pineapple and required dry fruits before take off for the Pakistani capital.
