PM orders more security for legal fraternity after blast
In a statement, PM said no one will be allowed to disturb peace in the province that has been restored due to countless sacrifices of security forces, police and the people of Balochistan.
He directed the authorities concerned to maintain utmost vigilance and beef up security for the legal fraternity and members of civil society
The prime minister directed for provision of best treatment to those injured during the attack.
Mr. Sharif prayed for eternal peace of the departed souls and strength to the bereaved families to bear this irreparable loss.
Meanwhile, President Mamnoon Hussain and Interior Minister Chaudhary Nisar Ali Khan have also deplored the loss of precious lives in the attack.
At least 17 people were killed and 30 were wounded when a bomb went off at a major hospital in Quetta.
The blast occurred after a number of lawyers and some journalists had gathered at the hospital following the death of the president of the Balochistan Bar Association in a separate shooting incident early this morning.”
