PM orders 'stocking of petrol for two months'

Prime Minister Nawaz Sharif chaired a meeting on the fuel crisis in the country during which he directed the concerned ministries to coordinate in order to ensure countrywide steady supply of petrol.

Finance Minister Ishaq Dar, Water and Power Minister Khawaja Asif attended the meeting.

The premier also ordered to build petroleum stocks to meet the two-month demand of the country.

Sharif vowed to take action against all those responsible for the crisis and creating difficulties for general public. He also directed concerned departments to inform the public about petroleum supply and dispel the idea of fuel shortage.
