The warning came after Incharge Prime Minister’s Public Affairs and Grievances Wing Sh Aftab Ahmed made a countrywide tour to monitor development schemes pertaining to SNGPL and Wapda under PM directives.

According to the letters available with ARY News, the minister held meetings with divisional commissioners and noticed that despite 100 per cent release of funds, the progress by the executing agencies on the development schemes was not encouraging and satisfactory.

Following report from the minister concerned, the PM Nawaz Sharif has shown his deep concern over the slow pace of implementation/completion of development schemes.
