Whoever spreading sectarianism will face terrorism charges: Nisar

Speaking on the occasion, he emphasised for all working together to rid the country of terrorists.

The PM said National Action Plan (NAP) is the common agenda and the government is implementing it.

Nawaz Sharif said operation Zarb-e-Azb is continuing successfully in North Waziristan, yielding positive results and has achieved successes better than expected. He said the back of terrorists has been broken and their network dismantled.

Later, briefing newsmen about the meeting of Prime Minister with Ulema, Interior Minister Chaudhry Nisar Ali Khan said the objective of the meeting is to bring speed and expansion in implementation of National Action Plan against terrorism.

He told that those spreading sectarianism will have case registered against them under terror charges. He said the government will take action against those terming any one ‘kaafir (unbeliever) or wajibul qatal (liable to be killed)

Khan said the Madaris have also agreed for registration. He said it was agreed that the Madaris will get their expenditure audited.

He said a committee will also be constituted to improve the syllabus of madaris.

He said a meeting of Chief Ministers of all the provinces will be held on Thursday for an institutionalised framework in this regard.

Chief Minister General Raheel Sharif, Interior Minister Ch Nisar Ali Khan, Minister for Religious Affairs Sardar Muhammad Yousaf and other senior officials attended the meeting.
