PM Sharif has been staying in London since May 31 following his open-heart surgery. The PM has undergone successful surgery at a hospital in London, while wishes and prayers from national as well as world leaders also poured in after the PM’s operation.

According to his party ministers, PM Sharif has been advised rest by the doctors and since he’s been conducting important meetings via video link.

He had approved the federal budget for the fiscal year 2016-17 via video link from the Pakistani High Commission in London.

The premier was discharged from the hospital on June 6.He was accompanied by his sons, Hussain Nawaz and Hassan Nawaz, and his wife Kulsoom Nawaz.

The PM appeared fit and healthy as he walked out of hospital. He also briefly interacted with party workers and leaders outside the hospital.

Spokesperson to PM Musaddaq Malik said it might take the prime minister three weeks to return to Pakistan.
