PM summons national security meeting; PTI declines

ISLAMABAD: The Prime Minister of Pakistan, Nawaz Sharif has summoned a national security meeting on Saturday, for which all the chief ministers, army chief and heads of the parliamentary parties are also invited, while Pakistan Tehreek Insaf (PTI) has declined to participate, ARY News reported.

The Prime Minister Nawaz Sharif summoned a national security meeting tomorrow, which will be attended by the chiefs of the armed forces of Pakistan, DG Inter Services Intelligence (ISI), all the chief ministers and heads of the parliamentary parties.

PM Nawaz will preside the key meeting, during which political situation of the country, operation Zarb-e-Azb and other security affairs will be discussed.

Meanwhile, PTI declined to participate in the meeting; however Chief Minister Pervez Khattak will attend the conference as the head of the province.
