PM summons national security meeting
ISLAMABAD: Prime Minister Nawaz Sharif has summoned the cabinet’s National Security Committee meeting tomorrow, ARY News reported on Monday.
The NSC meeting will be attended by the services chiefs and the members of the committee.
The cabinet committee will approve the draft of the firstever National Security Policy of Pakistan.
Interior Minister Chaudhry Nisar Ali in a media talk on Sunday disclosed that the National Security Policy has been divided in three components including the policy, the strategic and the operational matters.
The committee will also discuss the internal security situation, measures to curb terrorism incidents in the country and dialogue with Taliban.
