PM summons parliamentary leaders meeting today

ISLAMABAD: Prime Minister Nawaz Sharif has convened a meeting of the parliamentary leaders in Islamabad today [Friday] for exchange of views on making the Senate elections transparent.

This was stated by Finance Minister Ishaq Dar, while talking to media along with PTI leader Jehangir Tareen in Islamabad on Thursday evening.

He said PML-N and PTI are on the same page in curbing the menace of horse-trading in upcoming Senate elections.

Speaking on the occasion, Jehangir Tareen said that his party was against the secret balloting of Senate polls. He demanded that those indulging in horse-trading should be given strict punishment.
