PM to attend NA session on Friday to answer questions: Rasheed

Earlier, Leader of Opposition Syed Khursheed Shah talking to media outside the Parliament House after a meeting of the opposition parties. The opposition meeting was attended by PTI’s Jahangir Tareen, Shireen Mazari, Shaikh Rashid and other leaders.

He said that in democracy all matters can be resolved with dialogue. “We want to strengthen the democratic system in the country”, he further said. Shah said that the opposition will boycott the session if the prime minister would not return to the house.

Replying a question, Shah said that he was unaware about any committee constituted by the government for talks over the Panama Leaks issue.

The opposition parties continued to boycott the parliament session protesting over the prolonged absence of the prime minister from the house.

Information Minister Pervez Rasheed in reply to the opposition demand said that Prime Minister Nawaz Sharif will attend the National Assembly session on Friday and will answer the questions of the members of the house.

The National Assembly session began in the morning today with Speaker Ayaz Sadiq in chair, was adjourned due to lack of the quorum.
