BAHAWALPUR: Prime Minister Nawaz Sharif said government will end load-shedding menace before completion of its tenure, ARY News reported Friday.
The PM stated this while laying the foundation stone of 100-mega watts solar power project in Bahawalpur. He said the biggest problem of the country was electricity crisis.
Under the newly proposed solar power project, 100-MWs of electricity will be churned out. While in the second phase, 300-MWs of power will be transferred to the national grid by December 2015.
In third phase, 600-MWs of electricity will be produced by December 2016.
Quaid-e-Azam Solar Power Project will overall produce the 1000-MWs of electricity.
