The prime minister today presided a high-level meeting to consult party members on situation after election tribunals’ verdicts in NA-122, NA-154 and NA-125.

The ruling party after consultation decided to go for re-election in NA-122 and NA-154, instead of approaching the apex court.

Federal Information Minister Pervez Rasheed after the meeting announced that his party will contest re-election in the above mentioned constituencies.

“We are not afraid of going back in public against Pakistan Tehreek-i-Insaf,” PM Sharif said in the meeting, according to sources. “People have earlier expressed their confidence in PML-N and the party will emerge victorious this time as well.”

The premier was also informed about details of talks with Muttahida Qaumi Movement on resignations issue.

Prime Minister Nawaz Sharif held discussion with his confidants on the matter and later summoned Maulana Fazlur Rahman for further consultation.
