ISLAMABAD: Prime Minister Nawaz Sharif has hit out at his opponents behind ‘Naya Pakistan’ sloganeering, saying it is his government that is actually forming ‘new Pakistan’ with several uplift projects.

Addressing his supporters in Sangla here, Nawaz said some elements were out to hamper development progress in the country.

“…We will continue with our development plan and agenda, come what may,” said the prime minister.

Mr. Sharif said the era of development will now keep moving forward. He reiterated that electricity load-shedding will end in 2018.

“Those criticizing us should hold a comparison between Pakistan of three years ago and what it is at the moment,” he bragged.
