PML-N, PTI two sides of the same coin, says Bilawal

ATTOCK: Pakistan People’s Party (PPP) chief Bilawal Bhutto Zardari on Monday said that rival parties Pakistan Muslim League-Nawaz (PML-N) and Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaf (PTI) are both “right-wing” parties and have the same agenda, ARY News reported.

Addressing a rally in Pindigheb subdivision of Attock, the PPP chief said that, being right wing parties,  both PTI and PML-N have similar economic agenda and only late Zulfikar Ali Bhutto’s party can work on people-focused economic policies.

“Zulfiqar Ali Bhutto (PPP founder) nationalised the industry and provided employment. Providing employment is a benchmark of PPP’s politics, in the past, people used to say Benazir aai gee, Rozgar lai gee (Benazir’s rise to power will mean employment),” said Bilawal.

The PPP chief also promised food cards, proper housing facilities and a pro-farmer policy if people elect his party to power.

It is pertinent to note here that Bilawal had started his election campaign by announcing his party’s manifesto for the 2018 general elections on June 29.

Addressing media in Islamabad, the PPP chief had lamented the absence of an effective and proactive foreign policy, lack of education and health facilities for common people of the country and an ‘unstable’ economic situation.

He pledged to free all Pakistanis from the fear of hunger, thirst and helplessness and to open opportunities for youth so that “they may excel, become active citizens of Pakistan and confident members of the global community”.
