PML-Q expresses solidarity with Pakistan Army, ISI

LAHORE: The activists and supporters of Pakistan Muslim League – Quaid-e-Azam (PML-Q) are taking out rallies to express solidarity with Pakistan Army and Inter-Services Intelligence (ISI) on Sunday, ARY News reports from Lahore.

Rallies are being taken out in 12 districts of Punjab.

Kamil Ali Agha and Mian Mohammad Muneer led the rally from Muslim League House and Press Club in Lahore. The participants held banners and placards in support of the army.

PML-Q representative Riaz Asghar and MPA Bismah Riaz Chaudhry led the rally in Mandi Bahauddin. Large number of women and children were present in the rally. The participants in the rally chanted slogans against Jang and Geo Group.

A rally, led by Chaudhry Shafaat Hussain and Mian Imran Masood, was taken out from Zahoor Elahi Palace in Gujrat. The participants in the rally demanded that the people speaking against Pakistan Army should apologize to the nation.

The rally of Multan was led by PML-Q leader Mushtaq Ahmad Ansari. The participants of the rally shouted slogans in favor of the military. They demanded action against the elements levelling pointless allegations against defence institutions.

Rallies were also taken out in different districts of Punjab including Sargodha, Rawalpindi and Jhelum to support the military. 

People of Sindh have also come out on the streets to express solidarity with Pakistan on the call of PML-Q.

Journalists in Hyderabad burned an effigy of Mir Shakeel-ur-Rehman and demanded that transmission of Geo to be shut down.
