PMLN members opt to quit from Balochistan Cabinet
QUETTA: Pakistan Muslim League-Nawaz (PMLN) Balochistan chapter, general secretary, Naseebullah Khan Bazai has said that the party ministers have decided to resign from the provincial cabinet after being forced to do so – ARY News reports.
Addressing a press conference here, Naseebullah Khan said that the PMLN Head, Nawaz Sharif despite of having majority seats, handed over the Balochistan Government to the nationalists, as a good-will gesture and PMLN became part of the provincial government as an ally itself.
He added that the generosity of PMLN was considered to be its weakness and our ministers were confined to their offices, neither they were given any authority nor were they taken into confidence while making important decisions.
The PMLN official told that the discretionary funds of PMLN ministers were also not issued, whereas the nationalist members of the cabinet were given authorities as well as funds.
With this state of affairs, PMLN members have decided to resign from the provincial cabinet, whereas party's future strategy will be decided upon the arrival of the provincial head, Nawab Sanaullah Zehri here from abroad, added Naseebullah Khan.
