FAISALABAD: Pakistan Muslim League-Nawaz (PMLN) MPA from Faisalabad, Tahir Jameel has demanded to take back all the provincial portfolios from Rana Sanaullah until an inquiry against him regarding corruption worth billion of rupees is not settled – ARY News reports.
Addressing a press conference here on Monday, Tahir Jameel vowed to table privilege motion against Rana Sanaullah in the Punjab Assembly, whom he referred to as a mafia don.
He alleged that under the mega city project, tenders of billions of rupees were given to favorite people, violating all the rules and regulations and the owner of one such firm was ordered to be arrested by the Chief Minister after corruption charges were proved against him.
Jameel alleged that the possession of pre-mix plants was shown by 14 different firms through forgery, whereas only 3 plants are present in the city.
The PMLN MPA alleged the Law Minister Punjab of raiding his offices through government officials and harassing office staff. He added that fake cases are also being prepared against his brother.
Moreover, Tahir Jameel demanded the Chief Minister of Punjab to cancel all the tenders issued and to get the project accomplished by NLC.
