LAHORE: Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaf (PTI) provincial president, Aijaz Chaudhry has said that the act of PMLN MPA is a negation of democratic values and PTI knows to respond in 'tit for tat' manner – ARY News reports.
Talking to ARY News here on Wednesday, Aijaz Chaudhry said that PTI workers were tortured in Mianwali, Narowal and at the Punjab Assembly, within a week, upon the consent of the leaders of PMLN.
He said that doing so, PMLN is itself proving that it evolved from dictatorship and has nothing to do with democracy.
Chaudhry said that PTI strongly condemns such undemocratic behavior.
Earlier today, the PML-N lawmaker had slapped a PTI MPA during a protest in the premises of Punjab Assembly (PA).
PTI member Asif Mehmood was allegedly shouting slogans against India with reference to a meeting of prime ministers of both the countries yesterday. Reacting to the PTI MPA’s shouting, Salma Butt of the PML-N indulged in altercation with Mehmood and exchange of harsh words ensued.
