ISLAMABAD: Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaf (PTI) leader Shireen Mazari criticized Prime Minister Nawaz Sharif’s Adviser on Foreign Affairs Sartaj Aziz over attending the dinner reception hosted by Indian Prime Minister Narendra Modi in the Heart of Asia Conference, ARY News reported.

Mazari said that it was shameful of the prime minister’s adviser to attend the dinner ceremony hosted by the Indian premier. She said, “India is killing our civilians and we are having dinner with them.”

She asked whether Sartaj Aziz went to India for the conference on the saying of newly elected president of the United States Donald Trump.

“Indian government is taking advantage of Pakistan’s weaknesses,” Mazari said.

“Pakistan is suffering due to Prime Minister Nawaz Sharif’s personal friendship with his Indian counterpart,” the PTI leader said.

Mazari added that India is violating ceasefire at Line of Control and is spreading propaganda against Pakistan. The PTI leader said, “PM Sharif is sending his representatives to India.”

It should be noted that Sartaj Aziz attended the dinner hosted by Indian Premier Modi for the dignitaries taking part in the Heart of Asia Conference.

According to Pakistani High Commissioner Abdul Basit, Indian Prime Minister Narendra Modi had expressed his well wishes for his Pakistani counterpart Nawaz Sharif during the dinner function.
