If PMs can appear, why not a president go to courts, inquires Khursheed

SUKKUR: Opposition Leader in the National Assembly, Syed Khursheed Shah has said that if the prime ministers can appear before the court, then why not a former president – ARY News reports.

Talking to media at Sukkur Airport on Friday, the Opposition Leader told that the arrest warrant of Pervez Musharraf was is issued by the court, decision should be acted upon and Musharraf should also respect Judiciary.

Speaking about Talks with Taliban, he expressed his wishes for negotiations to be successful, however he added that in case of a failure the Government will have to face difficulties.

When asked to comment on references against MQM in England and difficulties for MQM Chief there, Khrusheed Shah said that whatever the MQM Chief is through in England, we have no role in that, Altaf Hussain is a British national and it all depends upon the British authorities.
