POL price to remain stable

ISLAMABAD: Prime Minister Mian Mohammad Nawaz Sharif rejected the summary to increase the prices of petroleum products , ARY News reported.

Oil and Gas Regulatory Authority (OGRA) had forwarded a summary to the Ministry of Petroleum and Natural Resources proposing the hike in petroleum products from Rs 1.38 to 3.60 per litre.

 According to a summary sent to the Petroleum Ministry, Ogra has recommended Rs 2.91 per litre increase in price of petrol, High Octane Blending Component (HOBC), Rs 3.60 per litre, High Speed Diesel (HSD), Rs 2.63 per litre, Kerosene Oil, Rs 1.38 per litre, JP-1, Rs 2.74 per litre and Light Diesel Oil, Rs 1.80 per litre.
